Cultural Items Rental Service

The Japan Foundation, Yangon (JFYG) lends cultural Items for introducing Japanese culture in Myanmar.

Users

Rental of cultural items are for Japanese language schools and non-profit organizations (educational institutions, cultural organizations, etc.) and are not lent to individuals. We do not lend items for commercial activities, or activities that mainly aim to sell goods.

Rental Period

The rental period is for up to 2 weeks.

Rental fee

All cultural items’ rentals are free of charge. However, for cultural items that need to be washed (such as yukata), please complete the laundry at the laundry shop before returning it. Laundry Fee must be paid by applicant.

Application

Please be sure to read the Terms of Use and submit the application form by email to info.jfyg@jpf.go.jp at least one week prior to the desired borrowing date. After receiving the email, the person in charge of our center will contact you.

Receive and Return

To receive and return the items, please come directly to JFYG. Please note that we cannot handle delivery or mailing.

Usage Report

Please submit a usage report within one week of the date of return.
