September 1 is Disaster Prevention Day in Japan. Both Japan and Myanmar are countries that frequently experience natural disasters, and we share the experience of facing disasters such as earthquakes and cyclones. 

This year, to mark Disaster Preparedness Month, the Japan Foundation, Yangon is planning a special talk and workshop on “How Can We Prepare for a Cyclone?” with a Japanese disaster preparedness expert. 

As in previous years, this will be a fun and informative event where you can learn a lot. If you would like to join, registration is free. However, as the number of participants is limited, attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
