2019 December Japanese Language Proficiency Test for Yangon and Mandalay

Application for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) that to be held on 1st December 2019 in Yangon and Mandalay will be conducted according to the followings.

N1, N2, N3 – 4.9.2019 (Wed) to 8.9.2019 (Sun)

*Number of candidates for JLPT in Yangon are limited to (9999) for each level of test, from N5 to N1. When the limit for candidates who have to sit for the test in Yangon has reached to (9999), other candidates have to submit the application form in Mandalay and take the test in Mandalay.

5. Fees of Application Form: 1,000 MMK

6. Examination Fees: N1, N2, N3: 25,000 MMK

How to apply

(Apply in Person) 

1.The candidates can buy the application form from the venue mentioned above. After filling in the necessary information, please submit it together with the copy of your NRC card.
If the person in charge from the Japanese Language School submits the application forms of their students on behalf of them, please submit the list of their names and Dates of Birth together with the copies of their NRC cards.

2.The candidates can download the application form from the Japan Foundation, Yangon website.
Fill in the necessary information with computer and send the application to the emails: jlptmyn.ygn@gmail.com for Yangon and jlptmyn.mandalay@gmail.com for Mandalay with the attachment of the scanned copy of NRC. After receiving reply, the candidates can pay the examination fees at the venue mentioned above during the submission period.
( The candidates can only receive the examinee registration number after paying the examination fees.)
If the candidates did not receive the reply e-mail for 24 hours, please contact MAJA directly by phone.

3. The candidates who will submit the application form in Yangon can only get the test voucher within the period mentioned above.

4. The candidates who will submit the application form in Mandalay can get the test voucher in the submission period.

Important Notes

For candidates who do not have their NRC or have lost one , please bring one of the followings to submit. Other cards that are not mentioned below will not be accepted.
1.Driving License
2. Passport
3. Student Identity Card that has been issued by Public (Governmental) elementary school, middle school and high school   ※No Private School ID accepted .

4. Student Identity Card that has been issued by Public (Governmental) university and college  ※No Private School ID accepted .

5. Birth Certificate (for under-10-year candidates)
