2021 December Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) will be held on 5^th December 2021 in Yangon and Mandalay as follow.

As the case of COVID-19 infection is increasing, the exam will be held only for N3 and N4 level for small number of examinees, and the application will be accepted from online only to avoid the close contact. We appreciate your understanding regarding above changes and arrangements amid hard times and we would like to kindly request you to apply for the test only if needed to pass the exam for some conditions such as job requirement.

Please read the following information to submit the application.

1.Test Date
5.12.2021 (Sun)

2.JLPT Level and Number of examinees for each city

JLPT Level – N4 and N3

Number of examinees in Yangon – N4 1500, N3 500

Number of examinees in Mandalay – N4 600, N3 100

3.Examination Fees

Examination fees (N4 and N3)  – 40,000 MMK

Fees of application form – 4,000 MMK

Total – 44,000 MMK

We appreciate your understanding of changing the exam fees as the exam has to be held in accordance with COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidance. The examination fees will be refunded if the exam is not held due to the situation of COVID-19 infection and other unavoidable circumstances but fees of application form will not be refund. Fees of application form is the procedure fees of accepting application form.

4.How to apply

Submit the application form online, and URL address to download application form and test guide will be announced on 20^th August 2021. We appreciate your understanding for not announcing in advance to prevent the system error due to simultaneous submission.

5.Submission period

20.8.2021 to 3.9.2021

※Submission will be closed as soon as the number of applicants reach the limit.

6.Payment method

Application forms submitted online will be checked and the invoice number will be sent to whom filled in the application form completely. The applicants have to pay the fees using KBZ Quick Pay (K Pay, KBZ iBanking, KBZ Bank, Agent) or AYA Bank Account and payment instruction will be sent with the invoice number. Test voucher will be sent to the applicants by Viber. (Please bring the soft copy of test voucher and original ID card to the test venue and show to get the original test voucher.)
